PLANNED July 1 Opening
Hello, Harpswell! Under normal circumstances I would be in Maine by now preparing for the summer season, but as we are all too well aware, this year is far from normal. I am still in Pennsylvania trying to figure out when I can get to Maine to fire up the smoker, bake blueberry lemon bread and sling bacon jam biscuits. I just feel it is too early in the re-opening process to make the leap; there are so many unknowns. I want to ensure the safety of my family, my staff and my customers.
Please know that I am eager to reconnect with all of you and to be of service to the community. I am inspired by friends and fellow small business owners like Nikaline at Vessel and Vine and Ben at Dog Bar Jim, both in Brunswick, Aaron and Jeremy at Moses Dyer Coffee Roasters, Nate at Flight Deck Brewing, and as well as farmers, cheese makers and other vendors at the Brunswick Farmers Market. I follow them all closely on social media and am encouraged by their grit and creativity turning this challenging time into opportunity. Please support those folks!
Check back for updates. I look forward to seeing you all soon!
Wishing you all good health.
This will be our third season at the Great Island Boat Yard in Harpswell, ME! We offer savory breakfast sandwiches and sweets, house-smoked meat sandwiches, salads and soups, and we carry wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages. We can also prepare house-made meals ready to heat and serve.
Craft Kitchen & Provisions is committed to serving fresh, delicious, flavorful breakfasts and lunches. We strive to source as many of our ingredients as possible locally; when possible, we partner with local farmers and producers. We also offer a selection of wine and beer, curated, locally-produced provisions and pre-made meals perfect for any outing.
Craft is owned and operated by business partners and Pennsylvania natives Pamela Rhoads, a talented cook, and chef Wes Trout, who smokes beef, pork and poultry on site.
